Closing out week 26 of 2026, active inventory across the retailers I track sat at 33,693,253 listings. Lab grown share, 65.9%. Lab grown is now the larger share of the listings I'm seeing. Retailers added 1,441,609 listings over the week and closed 58,999, a net add of 1,382,610. For diamonds carried by more than one retailer, the median price gap was 86.5%. That's the kind of gap that pays for shopping around. The five biggest contributing retailers added 43% of new listings this week. The top end did most of the listing this run. Median listing price for new arrivals, natural $1,265 and lab grown $763. That's 1.6% up on the prior week. The retailer spread tightened 2.4 points, less room to save by switching. Biggest move on the upside: Emerald median up 5.0% versus the prior week, now at $1,134. On the downside: Heart median down 38.9%, sitting at $1,039. Natural median listing price is 20.4% up on the prior week. Lab grown median listing price is 25.7% down on the prior week. Round dominated new listings, taking 41% of arrivals this week.

Price Change by Carat Tier, Week 26, 2026

Median price movement for diamonds in each carat tier during 22 to 29 June 2026. Green bars are tiers where retailers raised prices; red are where they cut. Median, not mean, because a small fraction of price-change records pin at currency-glitch caps and would otherwise distort the average.
