3. Local Storage
We also use browser localStorage to store the following data on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to our servers:

localStorage data is stored entirely in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.
4. Essential Cookies
The carathunter_auth cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function. It stores your authentication token so you remain logged in between visits. Without this cookie, you would need to log in on every page.
The region, language, and consent cookies are also essential. They store your preferences so the site works correctly in your chosen language and region. These cookies are set only when you log in or interact with the site, and contain encrypted tokens or simple preference values, never your password.
5. Analytics Cookies
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our Service. Clarity provides anonymised analytics including heatmaps, session recordings, and engagement metrics. This helps us identify usability issues and improve the user experience.
Microsoft Clarity does not collect personally identifiable information. Session recordings automatically mask sensitive input fields. For more information, see Microsoft Clarity's Terms of Service.
If you are located in the EU, UK, or South Korea, analytics cookies are only set after you provide explicit consent via our cookie banner. In other regions, analytics cookies are set by default but you can opt out at any time.

Payment processing: If you make a purchase through our payment processor (Paddle), additional cookies may be set during checkout to facilitate payment processing and fraud prevention. These are controlled by Paddle and subject to their privacy policy.
