Top Scoring Diamonds, Live Leaderboards

We score every active diamond across our network against our proprietary 5th C framework (quality, value, certification) and surface the current leaders daily. These are the stones the market is putting forward right now as the best available on each dimension. Click into any leaderboard to see the top fifty, complete with specs, scores, and lowest live prices across the retailers who carry them.

The 4Cs tell you what a diamond is, but they do not tell you which of ten thousand otherwise similar stones to pick. The 5th C is our answer to that gap: a composite scoring system built on top of the 4Cs that turns a flood of inventory into a ranked shortlist. Every active diamond in our index is scored on three axes (quality, value, certification) and then ranked against its peers. The leaderboards below surface the current leaders on each axis, refreshed daily as new stones are added and old ones sell out.

Quality score measures pure gemological quality: cut grade first, then polish and symmetry, then proportions (table percentage, depth percentage, length-to-width ratio). It deliberately ignores color and clarity because those grades affect paper value more than how the stone looks in person. Value score is a composite that combines price versus peer-median, quality score, certification rigour and market context (how long a stone has been listed, how many retailers carry it). Certification score rewards stones with complete, rigorous reports from the strictest labs; GIA and AGS stones tend to dominate it.

Use Top Quality when you care most about how the stone looks in person: sparkle, fire, scintillation. These are the best cut stones on the market right now regardless of price. Use Top Value when you want to spend smart money: stones trading below their peer-median with no compromise on quality. Use Top Certification when you are buying at a price point where paper trail matters most (high-value gifts, stones for resale, insurance-priority purchases). A stone appearing in the top quartile of more than one list is the rare intersection where all three values align.

These leaderboards refresh every 24 hours as our data pipeline processes new retailer inventory, removes sold stones, and re-scores anything whose price or availability has changed. If you bookmark a leaderboard today and come back next week, expect roughly half the entries to have turned over. That is the nature of a live market. Click any stone to see its full specs, scoring breakdown, and current listings across the retailers who carry it.
